Banana Boat Float

Banana Boat Float down the Piney River.  Date to be announced

It’s a what?

A parade down the Piney River.  You decorate your canoe, kayak, or other river worthy craft and float it down the river for all to see.  Make sure you smile.  Folks come out and watch and cheer on their favorite Banana Boat.

What is a Poker Float?

Good question, it’s like a poker run only on the river.  5 locations where you will stop your decorated vessel or at least slow down and draw a card .  The winning hand will get a prize.

Don’t have a boat?

Pinewood Canoe will rent you one.  Call 931-729-1042 for cost & to make reservations.  Decorations must not harm the vessel.   You can come and cheer on your favorite too.

When do I decorate the boat?

Camping is available at the put-in sight.  Make your reservations with Pinewood Canoe Camp, LLC

What is the theme?

It’s a BANANA BOAT float and we love creativity.

What could I get?

Besides a flippin’ good time, enjoy the beautiful Piney River, prizes for the most creative & the most sea worthy vessels.  Photographs taken before you start and as you cross the finish line for judging.  Everyone that starts in the boat must finish in the boat.
