The National Banana Pudding Festival is held the first weekend of October at the Centerville River Park, 100 Brown Junction,  Centerville, Tennessee.

We are close to Grinder’s Switch, best known as the fictitious town used by our own “Minnie Pearl” in her comedy routine.  There is a rail station still sitting at the site of Grinder’s Switch which Miss Minnie could see across the Duck River from her house when she was growing up. (Of course now the view is blocked by trees)  While you’re at the festival wander down and see the old train station.
